I dreamed of being a writer like her, so I started writing poetry when I was ten years old. I attended the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, Minnesota, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in English with a Writing Emphasis. But, Northwestern is no ordinary institution. We were also required to have a major in Bible. This has served me well as I have prayerfully stepped forward in the calling on my life.
